Anodizing is an electrochemical process that thickens the natural oxide layer on the surface of metals to increase durability and corrosion resistance. While most commonly associated with aluminum, other non-ferrous metals can also be treated such as titanium and magnesium.
Vios offers three main types of anodizing: Type I Chromic Acid Anodize, Type II Sulfuric Acid Anodize, and Type III Hard Anodize.
